Computers are painfully slow, applications are freezing, or everything takes forever. This could be a simple fix or a sign of something more serious.
Call Now: (587) 318-0019Check if it's one computer or all of them
If just one computer is slow, it's likely that machine. If everyone is affected, it could be the network, server, or a shared resource bottleneck.
Restart the slow computer
A genuine restart (not sleep/hibernate) clears memory leaks, pending updates, and stuck processes. This resolves many common performance issues.
Check what's running in Task Manager
Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager. Sort by CPU or Memory usage. If one application is consuming 90%+ resources, that's your culprit.
Check available disk space
If the C: drive is over 90% full, Windows slows dramatically. Open File Explorer, right-click C: drive, check Properties. Less than 10% free space is a problem.
Call us if the basics didn't help
If restart + Task Manager didn't reveal the cause, call (587) 318-0019. We can remotely diagnose deeper issues — malware, failing hardware, or infrastructure problems.
Don't download "PC optimizer" or "speed booster" software. Most of these are scams or adware that will make things worse.
Don't disable your antivirus because it's "using too much CPU." If antivirus is consuming high CPU, it may be actively fighting malware — that's important to investigate, not disable.
Don't delete random files to free up space without knowing what they are. System files and application data can be mistakenly deleted.
We connect remotely and run diagnostic tools that identify the root cause — whether it's hardware limitations, malware, bloatware, Windows issues, or network bottlenecks.
Slow performance is one of the first signs of malware infection. We run thorough scans that go beyond basic antivirus to check for cryptominers, adware, and rootkits.
If the computer is simply old or underpowered, we'll tell you honestly. Sometimes a RAM upgrade ($100-$200) or SSD replacement ($150-$300) gives an old machine 3-5 more years of life.
Our monitoring detects performance degradation before it becomes a productivity problem — filling disks, memory leaks, aging hardware showing signs of failure.
Prevent this from happening again. Proactive monitoring catches performance issues before they affect productivity. We handle maintenance so you don't have to.
